PokerStars Overhauls Live Tournament Schedule with New Championship and Festival Events

Before the start of Day 2 of the European Poker Tour Barcelona Main Event, PokerStarsannounced that beginning in 2017, PokerStars live events will be restructured so that they fall under two distinct categories: PokerStars Championships and PokerStars Festivals. The first scheduled PokerStars Championship is in the Bahamas from Jan. 6-14, 2017, a rebranding of the tournament formerly known as the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. Future Championships will last 10-11 days and culminate in a €/$5,000 Main Event.
