Coming up on the World Poker Tour is a trip to Jacksonville, Florida, for the WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble $5,000 Main Event taking place October 21-25, 2017. This event has been a part of the World Poker Tour schedule dating back to Season X, but the current bounty format was first introduced in Season XIII.

Matt Savage

Savage isn’t just a world-renowned poker authority, though, and he brings to the table just under $100,000 in live tournament earnings across 20 cash results. Most recently, Savage placed 134th in the WPT500 Las Vegas event, turning his $565 buy-in into $2,500.
Mike Sexton
Everybody loves Mike Sexton. The former WPT commentator and prominent poker ambassador won his first WPT title in Season XV after what had been a long time coming. Sexton will be back in Jacksonville for the Season XVI WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble Main Event to chase his second title, and he’ll be doing so with a $2,500 bounty on his head.
Richard Seymour
Athletes love to transition to poker, and we’ve seen many of them do so over the years. One such player is former NFL star Richard Seymour, and he’ll be one of the bounty players in the Season XVI WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble Main Event.

Elias’ three World Poker Tour titles came from winning the Season XIII WPT Borgata Poker Open Championship, the Season XIII WPT Caribbean Main Event, and the Season XV WPT Fallsview Poker Classic Main Event. From those three victories, Elias earned nearly $1.3 million total.

For those three wins, Zinno earned more than $2.14 million.
In the Season XIV WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble Main Event, Zinno finished 12th for $23,633.
Tyler Patterson
Speaking of that Season XIV WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble Main Event, that’s the season Tyler Patterson won, earning his first WPT title and $375,270 in prize money. Patterson backed up that performance with another run to the WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble Main Event final table in Season XV, ultimately falling short of winning the same event in back-to-back seasons with a fourth-place finish for $100,643.

Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi

Eric “Barstool Nate” Nathan
If you’re a fan of sports and a user of social media, there’s a very good chance you know who “Barstool Nate” is. What you may not know is that his real name is Eric Nathan and that he loves poker.
Nathan is known as a personality of Barstool Sports, and he garnered a bit of attention in the poker world earlier this year when playing in the WSOP Main Event. Nathan ran up a stack, but failed to cash, and even had a ton of fun with new WPT Raw Deal host Phil Hellmuth.
Nathan is as fun and outgoing as they come, and he’s a witty personality on social media. If there’s anyone who is going to play up to being a bounty player in the Season XVI WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble Main Event, it’s Barstool Nate, and we can’t wait to see him in action.
John Hesp
The final player we’ll single out for this article is John Hesp, who became “everybody’s favorite old man” with his outstanding fourth-place run in the 2017 WSOP Main Event. The Brit wore his heart on his sleeve the entire time, playing with a raw, natural love for the game that many would argue is lost in today’s poker world. Hesp is a player you won’t want to be gunning for, but because he’s a bounty, you will be.
