2017 WSOP: Main Event Draws 7,221 Entries!

The official numbers are in for the 2017 World Series of Poker. A total of 7,221 players posted the $10,000 buy-in this year, making this the third biggest Main Event in WSOP history. The $67,877,400 prize pool that was built will be divided up among the top 1,084 finishers. The champion of this event will walk away with $8,150,000 and all of the top nine finishers will cash for at least a million. Card Player TV caught up with Vice President and Tournament Director of the WSOP Jack Effel just after he announced the numbers to get his thoughts on this year’s fantastic turnout.
