The Poker Masters 2025 came to an exciting close at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, where David Coleman emerged victorious, earning the iconic Purple Jacket and $657,700 in prize money. The festival, part of the PokerGO Tour (PGT), ran from Sept. 19 to Oct. 2 inside the PokerGO Studio and featured some of the biggest names in high-stakes poker.
Coleman’s impressive run not only secured him the top prize, but also a $25,000 PGT Passport, further boosting his opportunities to compete in upcoming events. With this victory, Coleman’s live career earnings surpassed $12.7 million, cementing his reputation as one of poker’s most consistent performers.
Coleman’s Journey To The Poker Masters 2025 Title
David Coleman began the series in style, capturing the $5,000 buy-in $1,000,000 guaranteed opener. Outlasting a field of 239 entries, Coleman pocketed $270,000 and immediately put himself in contention for the Purple Jacket.
His second deep run came with an 11th-place finish in Event #6, a $10,000 buy-in, adding another $32,700 to his total winnings.
Heading into the $25,000 finale, Coleman sat in fifth place overall, while Alex Foxen was in the lead thanks to a victory in Event #6 and a runner-up showing in Event #8. To win the Purple Jacket, Coleman needed at least a top-three finish while fading strong results from Foxen, Doug Lee, and David Chen.
The final drew 63 entries, and Coleman delivered under pressure, finishing as the runner-up for $355,000. That result gave him enough points to lock up the series championship.
