The 34-year-old resident of Southampton, UK, made waves in late 2022 by finishing in second place at the largest-ever World Poker Tour event, the WPT World Championship, pocketing an impressive $2,830,000 in winnings.
Benny Glaser continued to shine in 2023 at the World Series of Poker, where he secured his fifth gold bracelet by winning the $10,000 triple draw deuce-to-seven lowball championship. With this victory, he now boasts three more bracelets than any other British player, a noteworthy accomplishment considering that England ranks third among nations with the most bracelet winners, trailing only the United States and Canada.

His campaign began with a victory in the $109 buy-in Badugi event, where he outclassed 178 competitors to claim the top spot and a prize of $3,550. He then navigated his way through a field of 91 participants in the $1,050 deuce-to-seven triple draw lowball championship event, emerging as the champion with $22,650 in winnings.
In the $1,050 no-limit single-draw version of deuce-to-seven lowball, which attracted just 51 entrants, Glaser emerged victorious, adding another $19,490 to his impressive earnings. His most substantial payday in this series came when he conquered a field of 70 competitors in the $2,100 pot-limit Omaha eight-or-better six-max event, securing $44,201.
This Sunday, Glaser secured his fifth win of the series by outperforming 34 entries in the $1,050 no-limit five-card draw event, adding $14,207 to his rapidly growing tally.
Benny Glaser’s journey in the world of ‘COOP victories began in 2016 when he claimed his first win in a $2,100 stud eight-or-better event during that year’s SCOOP. His inaugural WCOOP victory followed in 2018, when he emerged as the champion in a $55 pot-limit Omaha six-max tournament.
