ANOTHER BIG WIN FOR TRUETELLER AT THE PLO & 8-GAME TABLES

Russian pro Timofey “Trueteller” Kuznetsov topped PokerStars high stakes tables for the second successive day yesterday with a $157,916 profit taken from the PLO and 8-Game tables.

Over half of Trueteller’s winnings came from a 5 minutes heads-up session at a single $100/$200 PLO table against Finnish pro Sami “Lrslzk” Kelopuro. The pair met in the early hours of yesterday morning playing just 45 hands, in which time Trueteller managed to turn an $89,338 profit.

There were no huge pots from this encounter, but a steady stream of five-figure pots, nearly all of which went the Russian’s way. Here is the biggest:

Trueteller gets it in good with top set against Lrslzk’s flush draw. Despite Lrslzk making a flush on the second run of the board, Trueteller still managed to scoop the entire pot as he made full houses on both runs – $45.3k pot.

In just over an hour, Trueteller prised another $68,577 from the Swedish pro to end the day up $157.9k.
