The World Series of Poker (WSOP) released its full schedule of live and online tournaments Thursday. The 54th annual WSOP returns to the Las Vegas Strip for the second straight year at the Horseshoe and Paris hotel and casinos from May 30 – July 18.
A record 95 bracelets will be awarded in the live tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $300 for the new Gladiators of Poker No-Limit Texas Hold ‘em event starting June 7 to the $250,000 Super High Roller NL Hold ‘em event on June 16. The Main Event No-Limit Texas Hold ‘em World Championship will begin July 3. The record-breaking tournament schedule will include 20 more online bracelet events between the merged WSOP.com network of New Jersey and Nevada. The segregated markets of Pennsylvania and Michigan will award seven bracelets.
More tournament tables (600+), satellites plus added live cash games and a new Hall of Fame Poker Room are all part of the continued growth of poker’s biggest event of the year in Las Vegas at the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
